The Orange Light EP, the 2009 debut release of INS61. Focusing primarily on the immersion of artificially created sounds to emulate the likeness of broken machinery/malfunctioning radios while, at times, straying into strange hi-pitched melodic sirens to stomping beats layered in static. The album introduces the strange method of operator "Channel Switching" which the tracks were made, also coined as a track name.

I like the style of this band.
Not everything. But "Machine Elf" especially reminds me of a very vivid hallucination nightmare dream I had while sleeping under a pile of clothes on top of a dryer when my mom was really drunk one night. It was warm, yet suffocating, and I wanted to stay but also get away.
Slow, disconnected beat, repetitive, all machine. Pounding on and on. The off setting sounds of nickels and pennies ticking against the metal frame.
Complacency, if allowed, will only result in second degree burns. 😍😍
